The Horse Basket Bowl is a beautifully handwoven piece, measuring 8 to 10 inches in diameter with a 3″ depth. Featuring intricate horse motifs that symbolize strength, freedom, and endurance, this basket is inspired by traditional weaving techniques from Pakistan and the American Southwest.

Handcrafted using sustainably harvested wild reeds and date palm leaves, the basket’s natural pigments are dyed in clay-lined pits, resulting in rich, earthy tones. The weaver uses a figure-eight pattern to wrap the colored leaves around wild river reeds, skillfully changing colors to create the intricate horse designs.

Due to the handmade nature of this basket, minor variations in color and material enhance its unique character. Each basket is fairly traded and ethically sourced, supporting traditional artisans and preserving a time-honored craft.
